Jibe's Family Cycling Workshop is for kids who are able to ride a bike and ready to take to the paths and roadways with their parents/grandparents (suggested grade range 2nd-8th).
This fun event includes instruction on:
- fitting a helmet
- performing a bike safety check
- communicating with other road users
- riding in a straight line and avoiding obstacles
- navigating safely through intersections
- locking your bike
We wrap it up with a family ride that includes exploring part of Jackrabbit Trail and neighborhood streets with intersections.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult to participate, each with their own working bikes and helmets.
Please note: Our family events are for parents/grandparents and kids to participate in together.
